I want to personally welcome you to Northeast Community Church! We have designed a church with you in mind, driven by biblical purposes, not tradition. Sunday morning services are casual and relaxed with contemporary music and relevant messages.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11

I don't believe that God wants you to feel weighed down with rules and regulations. I do believe that God loves you and desires a personal relationship with you. God has a plan for your life. His plan is to prosper you and to give you hope for the future. My Sunday morning messages are geared toward sharing with you Gods plans for your happiness at home, work, play, and yes, even church. I was born and raised in Aurora, Ohio. I attended Kent State University where I received a Bachelor's of Arts degree with majors in Psychology and Sociology. While attending college I spent the Summer of 1988 in the small town of Iola, Kansas working with a church when I met my wife, Paula. Paula would later complete her college education and move to Ohio so we could marry. Paula and I set off for Fort Worth, Texas where I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In May of 1994 I graduated Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. Since that time Paula and I have had three children. Like many of you, our families are far away. At Northeast Church we have been able to find the family relationships that are essential for healthy families.
